Timeboxing
Timeboxing: Make room for what matters.
Timeboxing means reserving a period for a topic. In donebydoing, you set recurring time blocks from Monday to Sunday. See what deserves attention now while keeping your appointments in view.

Choose a time
Open Timeboxing in Settings. Choose a weekday, start time and end time. Set your account to a 12- or 24-hour clock.
Name the block
Use a label such as “Client projects” or “Bookkeeping”. You do not need to link it to an individual task. Slots repeat every week.
Focus at the right time
The active slot appears in the Dashboard and Focus headers. Your schedule shows its name and time range, with appointments inside the slot still visible.
An example working week
Monday 09:00–10:30: Client projects. Monday 14:00–14:30: Bookkeeping. Before each block, choose the task you want to complete. Put tasks in priority order; Focus shows up to four active tasks.
Timebox, appointment or Pomodoro?
A timebox describes what you intend to work on during a period. An appointment has a fixed start. The Pomodoro timer divides work and breaks and can run within a timebox. Timeboxing does not book events in your external calendar or complete tasks automatically.
Clear on your phone. Room to plan at your desk.
On your phone, switch directly between tasks, appointments, notes and Focus. Notes, links, files and project boards appear as readable cards. On desktop, your spatial canvas and its connections are preserved.
